We are living in a time when it is now normal and expected that we get outside help for our life challenges, 'Therapist' it is not a dirty word, and like myself you may have at different points in your life, perhaps even now, be having some kind of counselling, coaching or therapy.


I am a mind and body coach, this includes being: a life coach, a personal trainer, yoga, and meditation teacher as well as nutritional facilitator. I guide, teach and motivate others, I also work diligently on myself every day. I have done all my adult life and for me, this is what maketh the teacher, the man or woman that 'walks the talk' and as Gandhi's legacy left us with 'The change, we want to see in the world'.

I am an advocate of self and personal - development, I teach many forms and tools to help you get to the root of what you might feel is your imbalance, your inner disharmony.


I help you navigate, to get in touch with your inner joy, ignite your personal purpose, conect your inner peace, so that you may shine in your own life and can live with a sense of meaning everyday.


One of the best therapies and is free is exercise, moving, challenging, pushing your body out of it's comfort zone. Fitness in whichever form you choose - team sport, running, a group class, personal training, the gym, swim and or yoga.


The body was built to move, to burn energy, to feel optimal. Exercise moves stagnant energy, shifts and unblocks emotions and releases chemicals that interact with the receptors in your brain called endorphins and reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins trigger a positive feeling in the body, in the same way that the drug morphine does.


Research has shown that exercise is one of the most effective yet unknown and underused treatments for mild to moderate depression.


When you exercises you are flushed with endorphins, these feel-good chemicals cascade through your body giving you a natural drug free feeling of improved self-esteem and thus trigger positive feelings, this feeling is often described as "euphoric" or "runner's high".


With the simple act of taking up a regular exercise routine you gain a positive and energizing outlook on your life.


However unlike the drug morphine, the activation of these receptors by the body's endorphins does not lead to a dependant addiction, though be warned, you may want to maintain a regular exercise once you experience the life-changing benefits of keeping fit.


Regular exercise has been proven to:

Reduce stress.

Help to relieve feelings of anxiety.

Lower feelings of depression.

Raise self-esteem.

Help improve sleep.

Improve quality of life.


As well as the physical benefits of exercise, being with others gives social support, joining a group/class, working out with friends or a training buddy, having your own and finding the right personal trainer motivates and holds you accountable, as well as somewhere you know you can safely and positively release.


Get up, get out and move your body, you are in charge you can feel good now!
