Homemade hot cocoa is a healthier & cheaper more luxurious & in my opinion more delicious alternative & swap from a bought, takeout, or instant hot chocolate. You can make a rich, sweet & sugar-free soothing hot cocoa that tastes amazing & while supporting your best health. Here is the recipe.

Equipment: Small milk Pan
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk of choice - dairy/rice/almond/coconut milk or other alternatives.
2 teaspoons of pure unsweetened cocoa powder, green & blacks is a good economic choice.
1-2 teaspoons or to taste of natural nonsugar sweetener of choice & optional, as is perfectly delicious & bittersweet without.
Side note - My preference for a natural nonsugar sweetner is Erythritol which you can buy from wherever you do your household shop.
Half a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
To Make
Into your favorite cup add the cocoa powder, vanilla essence & sweetener of choice (optional) pour a little boiling water & mix into a smooth paste.
Heat to hot & pour it into the cup & mix it with the cocoa paste.
Cocoa is packed with antioxidants. Cocoa is heart- and brain-healthy.
